Hey, first of all, a little introduction, I joined the LDRC some days ago, I've discovered Motorwolf 3 o 4 years ago and their adventures blew my mind and more after meeting Miguel in person some months ago. Motorcycles are my passion since my Dad gifted me my first bike when I was 12 and since then, I've been riding all kind of bikes "Dirt Bikes, Sport Bikes, Dual-Sport, Caferacer, Classics, Custom bikes, Scooter", right now I have a Sporty from the 90' and I'm looking the get a second bike as the Honda CRF250 Rally or the classic KLR, how hard is to find the perfect bike right?. Besides that, as to continue with the introduction, I'm originally from Spain but currently living in the USA working as Digital Designer.
Next Saturday I'm going to start a trip with the bike that is going to take me from Jersey City to Milwaukee, crossing through Canada. Is my second Long Distance trip on a bike and besides from the preliminary nerves I was wondering the next:
How to enjoy each second of the adventure while capturing everything for the memories?
I wanna record and publish some daily videos and photos to share it with family and friends on Instagram but I don't wanna spend a lot of time doing it and thinking about that instead enjoy the trip, so how can I find a good balance between get something decent and enjoy? any suggestion?
Thanks in advance,
Javi

Hey Javi, first and foremost welcome to the Club brother! We’ll be all following your ride and cheering every mile of your journey. Enjoy the lakes in Northern Ontario and the roads of the Ojibwe lands. Regarding your question, it’s a difficult topic, since it all fails in each person preferences in order to find such balance between being present and documenting the ride. I say you should not loose sight of what your ride is about, of the purpose of doing it. You ride for yourself, for your own experience, and no one else. And the intimacy of that relationship with your riding experience is the main ingredient of your journey. Documenting the ride should come second, and should be done not interfering with your main experience. Personally I’m very passionate about photography and images in general, so I’m very involved documenting my experience in most part of it. I find photography is a way for me to connect with the places I’m in. Just walking around a place with my camera in hand sharpens my observation of my surroundings, finding beauty and life in what I see and experience. So for me, it enhances my travel experience. My suggestion, live it, snap it if you want, then leave the sharing for the night… when your day is over. motorwolf.club/blogs/news/documenting-your-rideHave a great ride man!! #RideFar
